Cut Out And cut them slightly larger than the lines.  (I know, I know . . Your first grader could do a better job with the straight lines . . . !...)


Press Into Bottom I then pressed them up through the bottom of the openings until they were a bit below the top - just to get the proper size. 


Pattern Once I had trimmed them so that they fit I traced out the patterns for the remaining 9 greenhouses.  (As you can see, I’ve taken great care to demonstrate at least a four-year-old level of  tracing competency here . . . )


Paint After gluing the “table bottoms” into the mold, I first spray painted the base brown (or black) and then oxide red on a sharp angle to the sides.  It didn’t really matter what color the interior was as long as it was dark.


Silver Panes I used a silver paint pen to outline the “glass panes” on the top to give the impression of metal framing.
