I glued bits of clump foliage and grasses (intending to make each greenhouse slightly different from the other) into the tables.  And the cabinet in each building was painted.

So when reassembled, the metamorphosis is complete.  Voyez la différence!

My desire was to fashion a multi-textured look to each hothouse.  Before we adjourn today, here’s a “topless” look at all 10 greenhouse interiors.

Only one more odd thing.  Did you ever see greenhouses where the windows were THIS clean?  Nope.  I discovered as I continued to put the hillside together that every time I sprayed scenic cement, it tended to run down the windows and give that dirty rained-on effect we normally expect to see.  Until that point I had intended to simply spray the hothouses with dullcote, but they actually look pretty good this way.  There’s nothing like modeling by accident, is there?  Everybody thinks you’re a genius!

On to summer, boys and girls!  I’ve expanded Nonaville as far as I can, it appears.  My hand is forced . . . The only project left is the neighborhood at the end of the Burlington Station Road.  First things first however - Music calls.  It IS summer and I need to start on my writing schedule for the year.
